Cable Performance Analysis (Based on Test Data) 1. Determine short circuits between the bus or sub-line signal lines.2. Determine open circuits in the bus or sub-line signal lines.3. Determine reverse connections of high and low signal lines in the bus or sub-line signal lines.4. Determine short circuits between sub-line signal lines and the shielding layer.5. Determine short circuits between bus signal lines and the shielding layer.6. Determine open circuits in the bus’s termination resistance.7. Determine if the resistance value of the bus’s termination resistance is out of tolerance.8. Measure the insertion loss between any two sub-lines.9. Assess the communication performance of the cable as good.
